Earning Money

» Posting!

Simply post, and you earn money every time, no matter where!
Amount earned; $5 per post.

» Advertising!

If you put up our ad on another forum's ad board, you will earn money- but you must have proof, via either a screencap or link to the ad. Anywhere that requires us to put up their minibanner or use a form is off-limits- I am not going to deal with that crap.
Amount earned; $25 per ad.

» Winning!

If your character wins one of the "Of The Moment" polls, you will earn money on that character's account. This goes for every OTM they win- so if your character is Johnny, and Johnny is in the Male OTM, Thread OTM, and Couple OTM, he will get money for all three of those. Also, for things like Couple and Thread Of The Moment, all characters involved will earn money.
Amount earned; $300 per win.

» Joining!

Everyone gets a cash bonus for joining their character- however, the prize will not show up on that account until the character is accepted.
Amount earned; $5,000

» Voting!

Be supportive of the forum and your fellow RPers! Vote in the Of The Moment polls and earn some money!
Amount earned; $100 per vote.

» Referring!

If you get a friend to join SS, you will get some money. But they must PM one of the admins or shopkeepers.
Amount earned; $50 per referral.

» Submitting!

If you submit a fun fact, you will get some money- but only if it is used. (Obviously, if thirty people submit a fact, they won't all be used, and therefore, not all of those people deserve the money.) I will try to change the fact about once a week, or maybe more often if more facts get submitted.
Amount earned; $100 per fact used.

» Winning... Again!

Staff will sometimes start forum contests, and winner(s) will earn money.
Amount earned; Depends on contest and rank.
» Extras!

Sometimes there will be extra one-time ways to earn money. Staff will post specifics when and if this occurs.

For some of these things, such as advertising and referrals, for which you earned money can go to any account you wish. But things like posting, joining, working, and winning an OTM must stay on the account it is earned on.
