abandoned building ,
For all intents and purposes, this IS an abandoned building. The bricks that make up the exterior are chipped, some are missing, and littered with graffiti. The front door looks like it's about to come off at the hinges, windows are either broken or missing, and curtains? Nearly nonexistent. Inside isn't much better. Caved-in stairs, a shaky railing on those stairs, holes in the floor, walls and ceilings that look like they're about to collapse... You get the picture. Overall, it's not safe. Criminals, runaways, gang members...they inhabit this place from time to time. The occasional hooker, too- in fact, outside the building is where the hookers usually find their "clients", and inside is where they do their "business", if nowhere else is available.

old train station ,
This old train station has been abandoned for decades, its last use having been some time in the ‘40s. It used to be a hot spot, with people coming and going and trains coming in every hour. Now it’s an old building with rotting walls, broken windows, and an eerily empty platform, with benches that people used to sit on while awaiting their trains. The tracks are rusted and worn, and teens usually come to them to take a walk or use them for scrap iron.

abandoned clinic ,
This is where the clinic was located before it got its funding. Run by two doctors who were working out of the goodness of their hearts with little or no pay, it isn’t very advanced, or big. It only has a few rooms: a kitchen, a small rec room, an office, two bathrooms, a common room, and two bedrooms, each of which had about ten beds in them. The doctors cared for the mentally ill patients here, as well as those with terminal illnesses. Once they got their funding about ten years ago, they built a newer, bigger, more up-to-date clinic in the city, and abandoned this one, which still has a lot of the old equipment. There are rumors that patients were left behind, or that some patients were tortured and died. Some say the abandoned clinic is haunted, and young people sometimes spend the night on a dare.

the slaughterhouse ,
Near the very edge of town, almost within the jurisdiction of the nearest neighbor, is the creepiest building in Bear Creek. This old slaughterhouse was just your average slaughterhouse back in the day, killing animals, shipping the meat to stores, etcetera. But now it's just a shell of its former self. Hooks still hang from the ceiling, and it looks just like the day it was abandoned- save for some of the natural decomposition of some of the machines and such. Nobody comes in here if they're smart- rumor has it someone still lives here- and they really don't like visitors.
