If your friend, family member, etc., is not at home, a mobile device is the best way to reach them. Most of them have text messaging, and some take pictures. Just punch in the number you want to reach, and the message or picture you want to send, and away you go. Voice mails also count as a message.

Any spoken conversation between people that is not in-person will go here. This could be from a voice chat on the computer, from a landline phone, or even from a cell phone. The posting rules are a bit different here in that all that is required is what the character said; if you want to add more, that is fine, but dialogue is all that is required.
