Figured I'd update all my apps. Just because I'm a conformist and the new one is pretty...? =P

appearance; Appearance-wise, Frederik is a boyish looking type of guy. Barely a hint of age on his face, besides the light foreshadowing of crows feet sprouting from the corner of his eye. He's not particularly muscled, just enough to push a gurney or thrash around in his messy office. Frederik doesn't have a history of being terribly athetic, which influenced his lifestyle and thus influenced the fact his figure isn't the most svelte ever. Still, Frederik manages to catch the eyes of a few ladies. His bad habit of running his fingers through his ginger colored hair leaves him looking like a ragamuffin after hours, although he usually doesn't bother with hair products or the likes. Still, that mussed look is somewhat charming, at least. Frederik often has at least a five o'clock shadow, and depending on how long he's cooped up in his office he has a full beard and mustache. It makes the occasional smirk and constant grin look older, more mature, than if he were clean-shaven. Still, Frederik has done that look before. In fact, he's done a lot of looks. From a preppy-athletic look to a more street-wise version. Nonetheless, underneath that stark white lab coat you'll see jeans or cargo pants and a t-shirt sporting a brand name. His most noticeable features are his bright blue eyes, a sky blue sort of innocent color that just looks so care free. Until they're staring at you with a scalpel in hand. Other features include two prominent scars. One particularly rough looking one on his left thigh, courtesy of a varsity soccer game where two players trampled over him and thus ousted Frederik from the rest of the season. A more clean-cut scar runs across his right shoulder, courtesy of an over-excited girlfriend (when they both ended up in the ER, her in a blood-spattered night shirt and him shirtless in a pair of cargo pants. No, the relationship didn't last.).

NODAYBUT TODAY
There’s only us
There’s only this
Forget regret
Or life is yours to miss
No other road, no other way
No day but today
history; Frederik's parents met at a bar, his father (Gilbert Audley) only eighteen and his mother (Emilia Entin) twenty one. Audley had begun his training to join the army as an active Marine, and spent most of his time within the town seeing little to no action as a result of his training. Emilia was a therapist for patients who had suffered from physical injuries, and worked specifically with sports injuries. A night at the bar turned into a night of fun, and after a shocking revelation of 'Oh dear lord, there's someone else in my bed.' the two began a steady relationship. Steady being an entire year of dating and continuing what they started. Just before their thirteen month anniversary, Emilia came home to another shocking 'Oh dear lord someone else is in my bed.' revelation. Gilbert had been cheating on Entin, and not long after the falling out he was transfered to an undisclosed location. Some eight months later, Frederik Aleksandr Curt Entin was born. A healthy 7.5 pounds at birth, and just over 27 inches in length. The single mother and newborn son lived in a small apartment, furnished modestly besides the nursery which was more of a throne room than anything else. Emilia Entin prized her son above anything else, and it showed. She was content to continue on with life, with only her son at her side. Because when she really looked at it, Emilia knew Audley had just been a faze. Nonetheless a faze that affected her life, and created one at the same time. Frederik spent his childhood in that apartment, going from daycare to the homes of his relatives and back to the apartment. Emilia and the young Frederik spent many hours together, considering physical therapists don't work late into the night nor at the crack of dawn, and thus became very attached. Frederik was, in every sense of the word, a mama's boy. He lived to please his mother, painted pictures for his mother, dressed as his mother pleased and rarely opposed her. He enjoyed most of pre-school and kindergarden, pleased at the prospect of making more pictures and playing with other children. Things were normal, the Entin family was perfect in every sense of the word, but come grade five Frederik started to notice the differences, his personality started to flare and sprout. It began when his little group of friends wanted to go on a father/son camping trip, and had badgered him until he exploded in a tearful mess finally telling them that he had no father. That Audley had simply disappeared and never returned, neither did he ever have contact with his father as his mother never wished to contact him. The boys he had befriended became distant, until Frederik was very much alone in sixth grade. That's when his mother noticed his personality had been overshadowed by gloom, and attempted to help him by keeping him active. She enrolled him in a soccer club, and started Frederik in piano lessons. As a child, perhaps from the lack of a father, Frederik wasn't inclined to play sports. The classic tossing around of a ball, but never anything serious. When he joined the soccer club, he was nearly shocked at the expectations and generally the whole army-aspect of the group. For the first few practices, every time he dragged himself back into his mother's SUV, Frederik used to silently cry while his mother comforted him. And only then, driving down the highway in the dusky Summer light, would Emilia Entin tell her son of his father. He gained courage from stories of terrifying drills and routines his father had gone through in the army, and come to terms with the bitterness he barely realized existed. As for the piano, there were far worse episodes after practices. The moment his fingers touched the keyboard, Frederik knew he was going to hate every minute where his fingers had to touch those keys. And hate he did. It took two solid months of two lessons every week and countless hours of begging for his mother to invest in an acoustic guitar and a new tutor. Frederik loved the guitar, thought it was made of pure magic, and used the instrument as a way to vent. By seventh grade, Frederik was a valuable defense man for his soccer team, and an accomplished guitar player for a seventh grader. And at that point, he even made a few friends. Friends that gave him the nickname Face, and played alongside him in his soccer team. Frederik graduated from grade eight, gradually went up into more advanced soccer teams and continued to play the guitar on the side. His soccer career was going well until the beginning of the season in grade nine, on the varsity team, when a heated match between another town's prized team lead to Frederik being trampled over and put out of commission for the rest of the season. Living with a physical therapist has it's downsides, but for Frederik that year it was a good thing, considering he probably wouldn't have walked normally if she hadn't been so insistent. During the time he could not play soccer, Frederik spent improving his guitar skills and focusing on school. Even after graduating from grade nine and returning to school for grade ten, Frederik lost interest in soccer. Loosing a year's worth of training was precious time, so he chose to push and study harder for school. It was during that time he discovered an interest in sciences, which his mother fed and fostered hoping to interest him and give him a chance at a career. During his graduating year of high school, Frederik finally met Gilbert Audley, his father. The man had transfered back to the base considering he was no longer the appropriate age for his position and began training new recruits. Emilia Entin had dragged Frederik out shopping with her, to a local Sam's Club, only to run into Audley in the peanut butter aisle. It was an odd confrontation, resulting in Frederik helping his mother away in her shock and simply glaring over his shoulder at the father he had never known. In the apartment, there was a heart-to-heart between mother and son, where they agreed to stay away from Gilbert Audley. Yet Frederik couldn't help but be curious, ended up having a lengthly conversation at a bar with his father, ending with Frederik stumbling home nearly drunk. After that, Frederik never spoke to his father again although they did run into one another here and there. They heard but never aknowledged, saw but never really saw. After graduation, Frederik shipped out to university a few hours from the family apartment for Pre-Med School. During that time, Emilia Entin married Frederik's first soccer coach who remained his sports mentor and close family friend after Frederik stopped playing. The two moved to London, England, to Emilia Entin's dream home. While at school, Frederik went through a few girlfriends. Some were uneventful flings, others were a little more eventful (see scars in the physical description) but none really stuck. He simply worked hard at school, had a fling every now and again, and enjoyed a night at the bar with his friends. When he finally got out of school, Frederik moved towns and worked in a Florida hospital, working with a specialist in Orthopedics on the side. Now, Frederik is in Hawaii. His only reason is a need for a change of scenery, and with resumé papers in hand he's ready to continue working. Because it doesn't matter where you are, saving lives is always the same.
